Origins
Before there was a company, there was a young merchant learning the discipline of trade — carrying goods, meeting customers, and building the trust that everything else would rest on.

Moafaq A. Al Gaddah's story does not begin in a boardroom. It begins on the move. Born in Syria, he came of age as a young trader in Kuwait, buying clothes and shoes at wholesale and selling them on — the unglamorous, face-to-face apprenticeship that teaches a person how markets actually work.
It was a period of constant motion — and the making of the man it produced: someone comfortable with risk, fluent in the language of buyers and sellers, and unafraid to start small.
In 1978 he made the decision that would define the rest of his life — he moved to Abu Dhabi. The United Arab Emirates was young, barely seven years into federation, and a city was being built almost from the sand up. He arrived with modest savings and an appetite to build.
