Legacy

An institution, not only a business

The most durable form of long-term thinking is succession — values carried across generations, with Moafaq A. Al Gaddah at the centre of the story.

Values across generations

Building something designed to outlast its founder

MAG was built as a family enterprise. As the group matured, leadership became a partnership across generations: Moafaq A. Al Gaddah as Founder and Chairman, and the next generation taking on executive responsibility. These are complementary roles rather than a simple handover.

What is transferred is less a title than a standard — integrity, patient diversification, and the conviction that a vision only matters once it is built.

Founder and next generation

Moafaq A. Al Gaddah

Founder & Chairman, MAG Group Holding

Founder and Chairman of MAG Group Holding. From early trading beginnings, he founded an automotive spare-parts business in Abu Dhabi in 1978 and built it into a diversified group spanning trading, shipping, real estate and other sectors. He has been recognized with honors including the ABLF Business Excellence Award in 2017 and a place among the World's Most Influential Arabs.

Talal Moafaq AlGaddah

CEO, MAG Lifestyle Development; Founder & CEO, Keturah; Senior Executive Vice Chairman, MAG Group

Son of founder Moafaq A. Al Gaddah and the group's second-generation leader. He joined the business in 2012 through Invest Group Overseas, became CEO of MAG's real-estate arm in 2014, and founded Keturah in 2022. He leads the group's wellness real-estate and asset-tokenization initiatives and has been recognized among Forbes Middle East's Top CEOs.

The next generation leads its own ventures — including the Keturah brand — carrying the same principles into new sectors, while the founder remains the enterprise’s anchor.
